A chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting topped with Oreo cookie crumbs and gummy worms
2 cups sugar
1–3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
1 can chocolate buttercream frosting
12 Oreo cookies
1 pkg gummy bears
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9 inch pans
Stir sugar, flour cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla
Beat on medium speed for two minutes
Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin)
Pour into prepared pans
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
Frost with your favorite chocolate buttercream frosting.
Pulse 12 Oreos in a food processor to crumbs. Place the crumbs on the cake.
Place the gummy worms on the cake as desired. Cut some in half and stick them in the cake to make them look as if they are coming out of the dirt.
I used two greased and floured 9 inch pans
